Mystic Falls Downtown Modern Farmhouse-King Suite

Property was dirty and while the owners were kind, they did not take accountability for this issue. Positive: The property was within minutes when driving to the Square. Negative: While the owners were pleasant in person during our stay, it was an unacceptable experience. The expectation of any stay is a clean, hygienic space, and this room failed that standard entirely. Primary Concern: Severe Lack of Cleanliness. When we went to shower and prepare for bed late that night, we discovered just how dirty the room actually was: Unsanitary Bathroom: Human hair and debris were scattered in the bathtub, inside the sink, around the toilet, and across the bathroom cabinets. The base of the toilet was dirty, and the vanity was covered in grime and dust. The mirror and sink had toothpaste splatter, but we had not brushed our teeth yet. It was obvious the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, possibly for a while. Neglected Bedroom: A closer look revealed dirty window frames, thick dust on the furniture, trash left under the bed, severe mold in the coffee maker, and multiple bugs (including a few cockroaches on the carpet). When we reported these documented issues to Booking the next morning, the owner dismissed the lack of cleanliness and being dishonest about the living arrangements (**see below) and refused a refund. To make matters worse, she called my phone after Booking spoke with her, claiming she "butt dialed" me—without addressing or acknowledging the state of her rental whatsoever. **Additionally, the listing failed to disclose that there is no private entrance and guests must walk through the owners' personal living space. The Booking representative said they were also unaware of this. While the owners were very kind and helpful on our arrival, this specific detail should be disclosed PRIOR to paying/booking. She claimed that this information was disclosed in our direct messages, but this is false. Even if this were true, it should be disclosed in the listing before paying. However, our main takeaway and biggest issue was the complete lack of cleanliness and the owner's total refusal to account for it.

An unforgettable experience - do not miss out! Positive: This stay was absolutely fantastic!!! The beds were comfy, the rooms were very spacious, lovely shared areas, great amenities (literally had everything) and Will and Carla were the best hosts we have ever had. They also have extremely up to date technology which we appreciated very much. Our entire stay was honestly perfect and we will be recommending here to everyone we know. Where modern elegance meets historic Southern charm, this beautiful downtown farmhouse captures the timeless magic of My Positive: Love the decor and rustic and modern style of the home! Was very charming and welcoming! Love at the Home was built in 1916 definitely gave it history tied to Mystic Falls. The king suite was very comfortable and relaxing! Definitely felt at peace. My fiancé and I will definitely be coming back. Mr. Will the host be as very kind and helpful. 10 out of 10… Definitely Recommend! Negative: N/A

Es gab ein kleines Tablet mit Gäste Informationen. Die Lage war ideal. Nur fünf Minuten Fahrt zum Square. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus. Tür wurde mit Code geöffnet. So braucht man keinen Schlüssel. Negative: Es war alles Top.
